Please Note
- The Montreal Heart Institute is currently not accepting gift baskets for their patients - 5000 Rue Bélanger, Montreal, QC H1T 1C7 (Please do not place an order to the institute because you have been informed by someone that its Ok. You must contact us before placing the order regardless and we shall contact the head of the department. They do accepts deliveries to their staff, thank you.)
- We are no longer deliver fruits gift baskets to CHSLD Robert Cliche at 3737 Bellechasse, Montreal H1X 3E5 for the moment
- During warm months all Canada Post shipouts (deliveries outside our local zone) containing edibles will be sent directly to the post office for pick-up.
Our Delivery Policy in Summary
● Delivery is FREE within our local zone* (for zone see below) and is hand delivered to the person, occupant, or reception for all available dates on the delivery date selector at check-out (conditions apply, see below). Delivery charge will show as $0 once delivery address is entered, and a pick delivery date calendar will appear.
● Fruit baskets and flowers are only delivered within our local zone.
● For the rest of Quebec and up to 48th parallel shipping is by Expedited Parcel packed within a box through Canada Post, cost $8.95 + tax. Shipping time 1 to 4 business days after purchase (approximate). (for full details see below)
● Metro Toronto 1 - 4 business days, cost $8.95 + tax. For the rest of Canada (not all areas, see below) shipping is 2 to 7 business days after purchase (approximate). Shipping charges apply (see below).
● Hospital deliveries to patients can only be done within our local area.
For Deliveries to our Local Zone
*Our Local Zone: Montreal Island, Laval, Longueuil (including Greenfield Park, Saint-Lambert, and Saint-Hubert) Brossard, Boucherville, St-Bruno de Montarville, Saint-Basile-le-Grand, La Prairie, Delson, Saint-Constant, and Sainte-Catherine. Items will be hand delivered (no box). A pick delivery date calendar will be available at check-out.
Delivery will be free for all available dates on the date selector for these areas at check-out. Usually if placed before 4 pm EST on weekdays, availability as of next day unless that or other days are already complete. There is an extra charge for same day delivery requests, see below (contact us for availability before placing order).
If the date you want is not available please contact us. Please do not place your order and choose a date and then contact us to change it. Any cancellation that results from such action will be subject to an administration fee. We reserve the right to leave the items at the recipients door if there is no answer or no one is home, including between the front open entrance and locked access to an apartment or condo building, if you wish to have other delivery options please contact us before the day of delivery. Please note: we will contact the recipient beforehand to let them know we are coming with a package for them on the delivery day. Intentionally providing us with any false information will result in your order being cancelled. Free delivery implies that we shall pay for the first delivery attempt. Any subsequent attempts will be paid by the buyer.
We shall not be contacting the buyer before or during any delivery attempt considering that we have established a delivery time frame with the recipient. We shall contact the buyer only if we are unable to confirm a delivery time frame with the recipient.
Please note that we require a valid recipient contact phone number, and that providing this information is required in order to place an order with us.
For Deliveries Outside our Local Zone
These will be shipped out by Canada Post Expedited Parcel. Delivery will be made Monday to Friday not including any holidays. Quebec: 1 to 4 business days after purchase (a business days does not include Saturday or Sunday and any holidays). Rest of Canada: 2 to 7 business days after purchase. These days are approximate and may be longer than expected. For more information on Canada Post Delivery Policies click here. By accepting our policies at check-out you also accept Canada Post policies.
Please be advised that these are approximate times. Montpetit Creations make no promise that your package will be delivered by any date that Canada Post may guarantee. In fact your package may be delivered before that date or after that date, and we assume no responsibility for any delays. During summer months for temperature sensative items, they shall be delivered directly to the designated post office for pick-up. This is done to avoid these being left in outdoor community mail-boxes.
Please note that it is the buyers responsibility to veryify the shipping address with the recipient before providing it to us. We require the recipient's contact number and we may contact them to confirm their address but we do not guarantee that we will. Any charges related to a return and re-shipout will be paid by the buyer (avg. cost $32 + tax). No refunds will be provided. Intentionally providing us with any false information will result in your order being cancelled. We cannot send to P.O Box numbers.
We cannot be held responsible for delays for situations out of our control such as but not limited to the holiday season, weather conditions, labour issues etc. We reserve the right to change these conditions without notice. Business days are all office working days that are not a holiday (federal or provincial) from Monday to Friday, from Montreal to the location the item is sent and in between (examples: Saturday and Sunday, Canada Day, Family Day, or days we are closed etc. are not business days).

Delivery is free for all available dates on the date selector at time of purchase at checkout. Usually if placed before 4 pm EST on weekdays, availability as of next day unless that or other days are already complete. You will be informed of available dates if your order is placed by phone.
Delivery to these areas are hand delivered.
Local delivery may start as early as 7:30 am if road conditions permit. The vast majority of deliveries are made in the morning or early afternoon under normal road conditions. Please be advised we cannot know beforehand at what exact time your item will be delivered. We start in the morning and deliver the items until they are all delivered. We also do not accept requests for deliveriers to be made a specific time ( i.e. "I want the delivery at 3:30pm" or "I want delivery after 2pm". Deliveries to businesses will be made within their hours of operation. For more information please contact us. Please note that our delivery service does not deliver during rush hour (between 3pm to 6:30pm). If a courrier service is being used during peak times of the year they may deliver at anytime between 8am and 6:30pm at their discretion.
We reserve the right to leave the items at the recipients door if no one is home, including between the front open entrance and locked access to an apartment or condo building, if you wish to have other delivery options please contact us before the day of delivery. Please note that we will contact the recipient in order to have someone home to receive the basket, and require their contact number.
There will be an extra $16 plus applicable taxes for any request for a second delivery attempt and for every attempt afterward even if the first delivery attempt was free.
Please provide us with the correct name and delivery address of the recipient as well as a contact number where they can be reached.
Week-end Delivery: Available for: Montreal Island (includes the West Island), Laval, Longueuil, Saint-Lambert, Greenfield Park, Saint-Hubert, Brossard, Boucherville, St-Bruno de Montarville, Saint-Basile-le-Grand, La Prairie, Delson, Saint-Constant, and Sainte-Catherine)
Week-end delivery is free for all available week-end dates (Saturdays and Sundays) available at the time of purchase on the date selector calendar at checkout. Usually if placed before Friday 4 pm EST for a next day Saturday delivery, and before Saturday 12 pm EST for a next day Sunday delivery unless those days are already complete or unavailable. You will be informed of available dates if your order is placed by phone.
Please be advised that Week-end may dates not be available. If date is blocked out on calendar then it is not availble for delivery.
Morning Delivery Attempt
90% of our deliveries are made in the morning. If you would like for the price of Same Day Delivery we can bump your delivery to the top of the list. Please note that by paying for this service you are paying for us to show up in the morning.
If no one is there to receive it and it is left in a safe area or we have to bring it back because there is no safe place you will not be refunded the service charge.
If for reasons beyond our control we are unable to show up in the morning, then you will be credited the service charge. No refund or credit will be given for the actual order.
Cannot be applied to a same day delivery.
Same Day Delivery

Available in the South Shore: Longueuil, Saint-Lambert, Greenfield Park, Brossard, St-Bruno-de-Montarville, La Prairie, Saint-Constant, and Boucherville: $16 + tax
Our delivery service does not make deliveries during rush hour (between 3pm and 6:30pm). If a courrier service is delivering your basket they will deliver your package at their discretion between 8am and 6:30pm. We have no say at what time they will deliver and have no way to know ahead of time when they will be delivering. Basket must be ready for pick-up to be delivered by 11 am at the latest. Please note: this service may not be available.
The Rest of Quebec (up to the 48th parallel)
$8.95. Approximate time of delivery under normal conditions 1 - 4 business days.
For deliveries above the 48th parallel extra charges will apply, please contact us before ordering.

Delay Delivery
You may choose a later date to have your item delivered if it is within our local area. All delivery locations that have a H (Montreal Island and Laval) at the beginning of its postal code, and deliveries to Longueuil, Brossard, Saint-Lambert, Greenfield Park, and Boucherville a pick delivery date calender will be available once the delivery postal code is entered.
Delivery Restrictions
Unfortunately we do not deliver to certain remote regions, including the Canadian Territories, Labrador, and the northern and/or remote provincial regions. If you are not sure please call or write us before ordering.
We reserve the right to charge extra for delivery if we deem the destination to be too remote or difficult to reach, even if it was implied that delivery would be free.
We only deliver to Canadian addresses.
Shipped Items
If your items are shipped by Expedited Parcel and the recipient is not home the package will be left at the local post office for up to 10 days for pickup or it will be left at the front door of the reciepient only if it is considered prudent. After this it will be returned to us at the buyer's expense.
**Please Note: if a date is manually entered that is not available on the date selector calendar your order will be delivered the next available date on the calendar. If you request a cancellation you will be charged a non refundable administration fee as a result of this action. Refunds take 5 to 10 business days to be posted to your credit card. Also by doing this you are purposely contravening our policies and may be blocked from making any future purchases with us, or if this is not possible have your purchase(s) cancelled without notice.
